What are your fees for therapy?
My fee is $250 for a 45-minute therapy session.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a therapy session, and at least 48 hours' notice for assessment appointments. Therapy sessions canceled with less notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee. For assessment appointments, the cancellation fee is based on the full block of time scheduled.
What are your fees for assessment?
Assessment fees depend on the scope of the evaluation. A focused evaluation typically involves fewer hours; a comprehensive evaluation — the kind required for testing accommodations on licensing exams or a thorough ADHD workup — generally involves around ten to twelve hours across testing at $300 per hour, scoring, and report writing. I'm happy to discuss what would be involved in your situation when we speak.
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance in my private practice and can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement — coverage varies by plan. I'm affiliated with a medical setting where I may appear under certain insurance plans, but that is separate from my private practice. I do provide short-term therapy through the Acentra Health plan, which is a distinct, time-limited service.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on preference and availability. Telehealth is available to residents of Colorado, where I am licensed.
How often do sessions occur?
Most people begin with weekly sessions. Frequency can be adjusted over time as the work develops.
Will I receive a Good Faith Estimate?
In accordance with federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. I will review fees with you before beginning work together.
