Biography
I am a clinical psychologist who works with adults navigating challenges related to attention, organization, performance, and relationships, particularly in demanding academic and professional settings.
I have spent over a decade working in student and resident mental health at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, where I serve as Director of Assessment. In this role, I provide psychological assessment and therapy for graduate students and medical residents, with a focus on attention, executive functioning, and performance in high-pressure environments.
My clinical work includes individual therapy as well as leading both short-term and longer-term groups focused on attention and organizational skills. This experience has informed a practical understanding of how these difficulties show up in real-world academic and work settings.
I have also written and been quoted on topics focused on practical strategies for managing attention in everyday life.
I received my BA from Princeton University and my master's and doctorate from the University of Denver.
My background informs my practice - jointly figuring out what isn't working and finding more effective ways of approaching work and relationships.
