Biography
I'm a clinical psychologist based in Denver. My work focuses on the difficulties that interfere with functioning and connection: challenges with attention, organization, and performance, and how those difficulties shape relationships and sense of self over time.
For the past decade I've worked at the University of Colorado Anschutz, providing therapy, psychological assessment, and ADHD skills groups for graduate students and medical residents. I also work onsite at a Denver law firm, which has deepened that understanding in a different professional context.
That accumulated experience shapes how I work in private practice. Many people I see manage well enough on the surface but recognize that something keeps getting in the way. Understanding what that is, and where it comes from, tends to be where the work begins.Â
I received my BA from Princeton University and my master's and doctorate from the University of Denver, where my doctoral research examined how tutors work with adolescents with ADHD. I've written about attention for The Conversation and have been quoted in BBC Science Focus Magazine and Law Week Colorado.
If you're considering reaching out, I'm happy to talk about whether working together makes sense.
