I provide therapy in person or via telehealth.
Many of the people I work with are capable and accomplished but find that the same problems keep recurring. These problems include difficulty with attention or focus, struggles at work, or relationships that feel harder than they should. Our work together usually involves more than solving the current version of the problem.
For the past ten years I've worked in the School of Medicine at University of Colorado Anschutz, where I serve as Director of Assessment for graduate students and medical residents. Alongside that role, I've worked with attorneys, physicians, and other professionals in high-pressure environments. This has given me a close understanding of how demanding settings operate and what can interfere with performing at the level you're capable of.
That background informs how I work. I'm less interested in telling people what to do than in helping them understand themselves well enough that the path forward becomes clearer. For some, our work stays practical. For others, it becomes something more: a chance to make sense of long-standing difficulties, understand what drives them, and build a more grounded sense of who they are and what they want.
I also work with adolescents and young adults. Many of the difficulties that show up later in work, relationships, and self-confidence have earlier roots. Addressing them sooner can make a meaningful difference.
I also offer psychological assessment for adults and adolescents, particularly when there are meaningful questions about attention, learning, or performance that deserve careful evaluation.
I work in person in Denver and via telehealth. If you'd like to talk about whether working together makes sense, I'd be glad to connect.
