Many of the people I work with are capable and accomplished but find that the same difficulties keep recurring: trouble with attention or focus, procrastination, struggles at work, or relationships that feel harder than they should. 

For over a decade I've worked at the University of Colorado Anschutz, providing therapy and psychological assessment for graduate students and medical residents. I also provide therapy onsite at a Denver law firm and maintain a private practice working with attorneys, physicians, and other professionals in demanding environments. 

I help people understand their problems more fully — sometimes staying practical, focused on how they function and what gets in the way; with others the work goes deeper, making sense of a longer history and reinterpreting experiences that have felt like personal failures. Often it's both. 

I also work with adolescents and young adults navigating the pressures of school, identity, and growing independence. 

I offer psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, particularly for questions involving attention, learning, and performance — focused on understanding how someone functions, not just naming a diagnosis.
