I work in person in Denver and via telehealth throughout Colorado.
Many of the people I work with are capable and accomplished but find that the same difficulties keep recurring: trouble with attention or focus, struggles at work, or relationships that feel harder than they should. Our work together usually involves more than solving the current version of the problem.
For the past ten years I've worked at the University of Colorado Anschutz, providing therapy and psychological assessment for graduate students and medical residents. Alongside that role, I work with attorneys, physicians, and other professionals in high-pressure environments.
I help people examine and understand their problems more fully — not just the current version, but what's been driving them and why it's been hard to shift. Sometimes our focus stays immediate and practical: clearer insight into how they function, at work or in life, what conditions support them, and what gets in the way. With others the work is deeper — making sense of a longer history of related difficulties, reinterpreting experiences that have felt like personal failures, and building a more grounded sense of what is possible. Often it's both.
I also work with adolescents and young adults who are experiencing stress as they juggle activities, schoolwork, friendships, and family. Many have high expectations of themselves and struggle to balance competing demands as they take on more responsibility.
I offer psychological assessment for children, adolescents, and adults, particularly for questions involving attention, learning, and performance.
