Practical Details
Do you accept insurance?
I do not accept insurance for psychotherapy or assessment services. However, I can provide a superbill for those who wish to seek reimbursement through out-of-network benefits. Coverage varies by plan, so it may be helpful to check with your insurance provider directly.
Are there any exceptions?
I do provide short-term therapy through the Acentra Health plan. This is a separate, time-limited service and differs from my private practice work.
Are you in-network with any other insurance plans?
While I am affiliated with a medical setting where I may be listed under certain insurance plans, my private practice is separate and operates on a private-pay basis.
What are your fees?
Fees vary depending on the type of service. I’m happy to discuss current fees when we speak.
Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?
I offer both in-person and virtual sessions, depending on preference and availability.
How often do sessions occur?
Most people begin with weekly sessions. The frequency can be adjusted over time depending on your needs and goals.
Will I receive a Good Faith Estimate?
In accordance with federal law, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of services. I can provide this and will review fees with you before beginning work together.
How do I get started?
You’re welcome to reach out by phone or email to briefly discuss your situation and whether working together might be a good fit.
